Paragon's System Implementation Support generally includes four phases:
Establish Objectives
Paragon works with the client to determine objectives and establish parameters for the project. Together we define key business processes and the systems that support them, establishing standards for the new system. Then we help the client develop a business case for the investment and win internal support.
Assess Current Processes
Once objectives are established, Paragon conducts a detailed assessment of the client's existing operations, examining how processes are performed on a day-to-day basis and fully documenting current work flow.
Process Design and User Support
Paragon works with the client to design the new processes that will replace current work flow. We draw on our extensive reinsurance expertise to automate as many operations as possible in order to achieve maximum efficiency and reduce the risk of error.
We collaborate with the client to develop RFPs for potential suppliers, and help evaluate proposals and bids. Paragon has worked with a wide range of software systems used throughout the industry, so we can make informed recommendations on system selection. However, we are not affiliated with any vendors, so our clients are always assured of receiving unbiased, objective advice.
System Implementation
We work closely with both our clients and their chosen software to manage the implementation process. Paragon's expertise allows us to assist clients with the entire implementation process including contract set-up, validation of system generated reports, assessment of the system functionality and testing the accuracy of all calculations and reporting functions. Systems are fully documented, and client staff is fully trained in their use.
After the system is implemented, Paragon serves as a link between the system vendor and the client user to ensure that all operational requirements are met and that data integrity is always maintained.
