Paragon Names Three New Vice Presidents

Pittsburgh, May 1, 2008 -- Paragon, a leading provider of consulting, recovery services and outsource solutions to the P&C (re)insurance industry, today announced the promotion of three executives.

Norman McKnight, Daniel Weir and Matthew Mitcheltree have been named Vice President according to Michael O’Loughlin, President of Paragon’s third party deductible and subrogation practice. “All three gentlemen have played an important role in advancing methods of identifying and collecting complex deductibles and subrogation claims,” said Mr. O’Loughlin. “Their efforts have been of great value to our clients.”

Mr. McKnight manages Paragon’s subrogation identification and large deductible reconciliation teams. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Economics. He earned his M.B.A. from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, where he also obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification with a concentration in Operations Management.  He is an active member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals and has earned its designation of Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP). 

Mr. Weir heads Client Services for the company’s third party deductible recovery operations. Mr. Weir graduated from Robert Morris University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Management Information Systems.  He earned his M.B.A. from Duquesne University’s Donahue School of Business with a focus on Finance and Information Technology. 

Mr. Mitcheltree manages Paragon’s claims research and recovery departments. Mr. Mitcheltree graduated from Westminster College with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and a concentration in Business Administration.  

All three are located in Pittsburgh.
